Project description
Create an identity for Emap On air, the consumer division of one of Britain’s largest media companies. Emap wished to present themselves as a youth orientated, street-wise organisation who stand out from the crowd.

A set of characters were developed and used across stationery, direct marketing and signage at the company’s headquarters. Subsequent projects drew on ideas of bringing the characters to life eg. in a pop-up mailer, where characters literally stood out.

Personalised business cards with pictures of characters on them, compliment slips where staff were invited to write messages in the speech bubbles, also added a more personal touch.Illustrations by Graham Rounthwaite.
